Body systems, medical terminology, biosafety levels, PPE and biomedical waste management.
02Clinical pathology & haematology90 hrs
Phlebotomy, CBC, ESR, peripheral smear, blood grouping and cross-matching, urine analysis.
03Clinical biochemistry90 hrs
Glucose, lipid, liver and kidney function tests; analyser operation and calibration.
04Microbiology & serology80 hrs
Gram and ZN staining, culture and sensitivity, rapid diagnostic kits, ELISA basics.
05Lab management & LIS40 hrs
Quality control, sample tracking, inventory and reporting on a lab information system.
06Hospital internship & assessment120 hrs
Supervised rotation at a partner hospital lab, digital logbook, practical exam and viva.
Clinical training

Rotations in pathology, biochemistry and microbiology labs with a logbook signed by hospital mentors.
